Cook said that "the United States is working with Turkey in order to resume the implementation of all air operations (from Incirlik) at the earliest."
The US official pointed out that the American facilities in incirlik is working on its own energy sources, stressing that "cut off the electricity supply to the rule did not affect their work."
The US consulate in Turkey had previously reported that local authorities had to close the incirlik military airbase Atlantic located on the Turkish territory.
She said the consulate in a statement that the Turkish authorities cut off the power supply at the base and barred entry to or exit.
These developments come against the backdrop of a failed attempt of coup d'etat in Turkey carried out by the military authorities, on Friday night to Saturday.
